There are six sessions altogether but one session is Q & A, so I do not have to prepare notes and PowerPoint for that. The rest of the 5 sessions are fully loaded with notes and PowerPoint slides. Three sessions of lectures or talks are on leadership and two sessions of workshops for which I also prepared notes too to guide the participants along. I was told two days ago 120 people already registered for the seminar. Initially I thought maybe 50 was a good number.
I finished writing all my notes at 7am just now. It was quite late notice, just about five weeks ago when I got the invitation. I wish they had given me at least two months’ notice. But it is good to get it done over the weekend and hopefully by next Tuesday after a day’s rest, I will return to writing my commentary on John’s Gospel chs. 13-21.Then I get four weeks before going outstation again to preach in a village with a big church, a village that invited me in October 2023 (a few days after I resigned from STS) that started my itinerant preaching ministry and it had not stopped since. I thank all the SIB churches and Distircts that are open to my ministry despite immense obstacles put in my way, but when God opens doors, no man can shut. I look forward to finishing my book on John’s Gospel and by second half of the year I will start a new book project. I do not what it will be, perhaps on Romans, Psalms or Ecclesiastes.
