This 1MDB case has occupied Malaysians for more than 10 years, the issue first broken into mainstream news middle of 2015 when I was pastoring a church in Ranau. It was earthquake literally in Ranau (5th June 2015) and financially for Malaysia as involved a huge sum of money several billion Ringgit misappropriated, and until now the government is still paying interest in tens of millions on the sum owed.
But in the first few months of the case being told and reported in Malaysia and then the world, I could only pray and tellingly during Malaysia Day 15-16 Sept 2015 all night prayer meeting. I led prayers around midnight for an hour on this issue alone and now I truly believe justice is being done and shall be done after all the processes of appeal have taken place in a year or two.I will surely pray that justice is fully done until those responsible for corruption and abuse of power are punished for their crimes. That would set a precedent for the powers to be that no one is immune from prosecution and punishment when one is found guilty. Prayers for justice, to a God who is just will see great things happen in one’s nation and the oppressed shall be set free. At the very least there is something to celebrate when justice is done and the guilty get what they deserve.
