Moving House (2)

 It may be the second round of my house moving process that could take at least 2 weeks or longer. I have a reunion to attend and that would be my last and only vacation in the past five years. I don't think I have gone anywhere out of my city for a holiday. Plenty of book writing and preaching in the past couple of years, no doubt and my experience in STS is bitter sweet. Sweet because I got paid reasonably well compared to my previous appointments in Sabah. But much is bitter and the less said the better. But I am now in earnest moving house. Yesterday two boxes of my books started the ball rolling. Today another two boxes with three suitcases of clothes.

How did I accumulate so many shirts and trousers? I bought three new long sleeved shirts just for my trip in KL last week. I thought I might need to change for dinner but then no one bothered about taking me out for dinner except for one night when one student took time from the end of the class at 4pm to 7pm, he took me to a nice restaurant. 

But I will move my things today and tomorrow. Then I will need to rest and continue my house moving after my Sandakan trip. No point getting sore all over for my School's reunion. Some of my classmates I have not seen for 45 years. Some have become grandfathers and some have passed away. I will take some photos and that could be my opening chapter of my new book with my childhood until Secondary 2 in Sandakan before heading to Singapore and I have never gone back to live or work in my city of birth. I am moving house once more. It's about the 20th time in my 30-year ministry. May it be my last time, O Lord.
