I watched a YouTube recently about a popular and famous pastor answering the question "Who is God?" in about 7 or 8 minutes. After listening to the whole eight minutes, regrettably he did not answer the question. Who is God? God is the Father of Jesus Christ.
This answer consists of only 7 words. In the Gospel of John, Jesus calls God His Father or "My Father" in Jesus' lips 34 times and "the Father" appears more than 100 times, mostly used by Jesus referring to His Father, then His disciples and several of Jesus' antagonists. God is the Father of Jesus Christ and the Father of those who believe Jesus as the Christ and the Son of God. Note that in John 20, John tells us why he wrote his gospel so that people may believe that Jesus (of Nazareth) is the Messiah and the Son of God and by believing they may have life in his name (John 20:31).
