When people commit injustice, they will probably lie to justify their action so much so there is Scripture in the LXX that injustice lies to itself. To maintain some facade of “justice” a series of lies are concocted to deceive untrained people, unspiritual people. A spiritual person will normally sees through such lies and knows that injustice is committed. Why people become unjust?
They have some personal interests to protect, position of power and prestige. They commit injustice to prevent any challenge to their authority just like the Pharisees did against Jesus. Even one of them by the name of Nicodemus said, “does the law judge someone without hearing him first?”Yet many religious leaders like the high priest of Jesus’ time commit injustice because they refuse to hear the other side, just fully convinced that they are righteous that they are blinded as to the errors of their ways. Much injustice was committed against Jesus and many false accusations and slander were thrown at Him but Jesus was innocent: “Does anyone convict Me of wrong? Tell it to me what my sin is” and Jesus’ opponents had nothing to say in response.
