Last Reading

This weekend will be crucial as I am doing my final reading, from the beginning to the end. I hope to decide by next Monday whether I could send the whole thing to the printers, or should I ask my proofreader to read the book a second time? I need the Lord's wisdom and I need to be decisive. Mistakes there are bound to be, but after the corrections were done in the past week, I feel the book is going to be fine, despite whatever weaknesses there are. The cover, back and front are done. Even the first page is included.

Every thing is ready and waiting for me to decide whether it is all ready to go. Once released there is no turning back, no changing or taking anything back. When printed, the words stay printed. I pray to the Lord to give me 72 hours of calm to read my book slowly one more time. Of course when the book is done, I have to consider what I should do next. Maybe a new book or go somewhere to a mission field. There are two places that I can go - Indonesia since my Sabah's Malay is probably good enough for Indonesians or to English speaking nations. Where to, Lord?

But it is likely I will stay in Sabah and wait for my next appointment. I have committed my life to the bahasa (BM) church here in Borneo. If I don't give up, and do not get weary I will soon reap and the harvests are plentiful. Just like my blogging. A few years ago I thought of giving up as my readership was slow. Sometimes I could not get more than 50 visitors each day, but now it is over 1,000 per day. The Lord can multiply if we don't give up. Lord, have mercy on your church! Kyrie Eleison!
