Fulfil Your Promise, O Lord

I have had two weeks of doing nothing, resting and just let time passes me by. I have to learn to take things slowly and in its time. Unless God builds the house, the builders build in vain, says the Psalmist. Likewise, I found myself at the mercy of God, very much like Moses in the wilderness for 40 years for unless it is God's will there is nothing much I could do. I learned many things in the past week. Reading a few chapters of Exodus 10-13 as preparation for Passover/Good Friday.

I learned much from Abraham, how in his impatience, he bore Ishmael according to the flesh by Hagar, and did not wait for God's fulfilment of His promise of a son. I wait on You, Lord. I have nothing. I have no appointment. I have no titles except what is given to me by You, when You taught me the book of Revelation 24 years ago. I cry out to God to rescue me, time and time again from my enemies, those who hate me without cause. So I wait for the fulfilment of Your promise to me, and I had waited for 25 years and longer. There is no fulfilment in sight, but I wait on you, O Lord. Cause me to be patient and keep to Your ways, for You say those who keep Your ways will dwell in the land. I have no desire except to fulfil Your will and I believe that You will glorify Yourself in me as You did through, Israel Your servant (Isa 49:3).
