Leaders & Leadership (A Breaker in Micah 2)

Any advancement in the world, whether secular or spiritual, has a leader behind it who has the vision, pursue it and execute it until its fulfilment and success. Whether it is conducting a church service, running a church office, a prayer meeting, chairing a council meeting or AGM, everything depends on leadership. In Micah 2 in the last couple of verses, Micah foretold that there would come a breaker who will break through and lead the way before a king and God at the head of it all. There are three personalities in this verse - one the breaker, second the king or Messiah and then, the Lord God himself.

Likewise, in Mark 1:1-11 passage there are also three personalities - one, John the Baptist "the one who will go before you", that is before the Messiah and the speaker is God himself as recorded in Scripture (Isaiah and Exodus). The leader or breaker will prepare the way for God's people and he has to overcome many things like in Zechariah, "o mountains who are you?" There are many mountains before God's people that hinder their way to heaven, and it is the breaker that will break through and lead them over and across the mountains to the promised land in heaven. Just like the Communists' long march in 1934-1936, almost two years of the most ardour journeys through mountains over thousands of kilometres which established Mao as the paramount leader of the CCP soon thereafter. Someone has to lead the way before any thing good can happen.
